Costume College this year was a blur! It all went by SO FAST, but I had SO MUCH FUN! I highly suggest anyone who has not gone come check it out sometime. Contrary to the name, it’s not a college program, but an annual costuming conference with choices of lectures or workshops during the day and social events at night. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of your favorite bloggers and small business people in person that cater to historical costuming (though they’re more often doing vintage and fantasy costuming as well).
I was a good little blogger and took a decent amount of photos on friday, but I sort of petered out of photo taking as the weekend went on (I have almost none of the gala!). I think I was so caught up in meeting and talking to people that I forgot I was carrying my camera! But I hope you enjoy these lovely photos of some of my fellow costumers and friends :)
Fair warning, this is a very picture heavy post!
Here’s photos of the Thursday “pool party”, Friday day (I was thankful to be on a panel discussion about social media with fellow costumers), and the Saturday “Ice Cream Social”.

Abby’s fabulous 18th century ensemble. That HAT! Love!
Nicole’s INCREDIBLE steampunk outfit. This was perfection!
I didn’t really get photos of my outfit, but I wore my recently finished 18th century polonaise jacket ensemble.
It was amazing to see these beautiful creations in person!
