Sorry for the Hiatus…

I’ve been a tad under the weather as I had my wisdom teeth extracted this week.

For those of you who still have them, don’t put it off!  It isn’t as bad as I expected, but it certainly is a pain.  I should have listened to my dentist… after age 30 is harder- it’s easier when you’re younger before your bones have hardened.  So be good to your teeth and don’t put it off like I did if you can help it.

Hope to be back soon with pretty pictures of vintage and historical goodies to share.

Have a great weekend!

I hope you feel better soon – that picture is too cute! I had my wisdom teeth out when I was about 22 and it was AWFUL!! Mine were impacted and I ended up with a horrendous sinus infection. Be sure to take care of yourself!

Eurgh… I am 18 and my dentist has been bugging me about getting my wisdom teeth removed… I keep putting it off, even though I do know I should get them out while it is easier! :-P
    Feel better soon!

Oh my, getting wisdom teeth pulled sucks. My own experience (at younger than 30) was nowhere near the horror stories I’d heard of, but still not fun. However, I gotta say that may be one of the most awesome photos (vintage or otherwise – but this would only be found in a vintage photo) I have ever seen. Hope you get over this quickly!

Poor thing, I sure can commiserate. I had mine out at 30 and I was laid up for a good week! I’m getting on my husband to have his out soon as well. Hope you feel better soon!

I feel your pain. I had mine out in my late teens, but I got zero gas anesthesia so the experience will haunt me forever! It’s not really the kind of thing you want to be totally awake and conscious for, though it certainly was the cheaper option lol. I hope you recover quickly! At least it’s all over and you’ll never have to experience it again :)
