>Fun Cotton Fabrics, 1936- Part I

>

I just love the cheerful print fabrics of the 1930s!  Luckily for us a lot of quilt fabric companies are now reprinting their old designs, but if you’re having a hard time distinguishing vintage style prints from modern prints here’s a few catalog scans from 1936 to help out.  They’re a great guide for color, print, and types of fabrics to use when making your reproductions!
Click on any of the pictures for a hi res copy.
Hope everyone’s having a great week so far!

    >I always love looking at these old fabric images–they're such great inspiration and have really helped train my eye about what is "right" (or not ;) for the era. Thanks for sharing these!♥ Caseyblog | elegantmusings.com
