>Plaid Jacket

>In hopes of practicing my new tailoring skills and having a plaid jacket to take on our upcoming trip to England and France this summer, I started this jacket this week. I haven’t been working on it ferociously since I’ve been trying to be a good little girl and do business first, but here’s the progress so far, which is, in fact, the hardest part! Tailored jackets are mostly all in the front, and other than the collar the hardest part is finished! Hurrah!

From this vintage McCall pattern circa 1937

    >Omigosh it’s so awesome! Gorgeous work on matching your plaid, too.
