Video Tutorial- How to Finish a Collar with Bias Facing

It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally made a video tutorial for my favorite collar finish *of all time*.

I first learned of this method from a 1930s pattern, and since then, have used it for almost every blouse I have made. I love how easy it is, I love how satisfying it is to look at when finished (especially in plaids or stripes), and I love how comfortable it is to wear!

You can see this collar finish in the Smooth Sailing blouse. I have had many emails over the years asking for clarification on this step, so this visual will work out well for those who wish to see it applied.

In the video I’m working on a blouse that is in a soon-to-be-released 1940s pattern (if you’re checking back later, it could be out already)! This is for an early 1940s Blouse, Suspender Skirt, and Jacket.
