Vintage Inspiration: Yearbook Images, 1924

Happy Sunday!

I hope today find you well, relaxed, and much blessed!

Today I’m sharing these three fun images from a 1924 yearbook.  It’s called “The Round Up”  and inside the front cover it says it was “Presented By the Senior Class of Roosevelt High School, Los Angeles, Ca.”

Click on any of the images for a larger version.

Enjoy!

How interesting and neat those pictures are! I have on from the early thirties, and its interesting how even now, you can tell who was popular and who was the “big man on campus”
Just wondering. Did you know that to leave a comment on your blog, we have to type in all our information? It might reduce the number of comments you are getting.

      Hi Donna!
Yes, isn’t it interesting? There’s not too many of these photos, and most are very tiny, but you’re right! So interesting going back and reading through. Things really haven’t changed much!
Yes, I know that’s the way the blog is set up automatically (I use wordpress.org). I will look into if there’s a way to make commenting easier. Thanks for your input!

After you type in all your info once, it should just pull up every time without you typing it in. At least mine does :-D

You can install either Discus or Intense Debate on WordPress as plugins. I think they both allow guest posting. I know IntenseDebate does. Both are very popular and will let people log in to one and stay on the other. I the both have facebook/twitter login options, too.

    So cute, thanks!
Are those historical costumes I see at the bottom center of the first page? :-)
    Lovely blog, as always!

So cute! I particularly love the dress ups at the centre bottom of the first page. I wish I could see them in more detail.

Wow, love it! Such a great resource. Spent a lovely coffee break looking at the pics and wondering all about their contexts. Thanks :)
