>Internet withdrawls, I had them. Glad to be back online!
Here’s a cheery little page of sweaters (or jumpers, depending on where you are from) that probably dates to around 1933. Now, who is going to start reproing 1930s sweaters ready made? Sign me up ;)
Husband and I saw The Kings Speech last night. Have you seen it yet? It was the best modern movie release I had seen in a long time!

Hubby went with me not expecting to enjoy it, but the performances were so strong and the story so compelling he was happy he'd seen it in the theater.

B and C are my favorites.Loved the King's Speech – thought they did a great job of making the period "real" – everything was so natural, so it was easy to settle in and just think about the characters.

The 40s and 50s cannot top the cuteness factor that 30s knitwear managed. ;) I really need to learn how to knit sweaters without a pattern one day, so I can start making pieces based on catalog illustrations! (We'll just file that in the "when I have time!" file… haha!)I haven't seen "The Kings Speech" yet, but am dying to, since everyone is talking about it!!! ♥ Casey
