I’ve been plugging away on patterns, but I’ve taken a break from the monotony to divert my attention to a darling little reproduction of a 1930s hat pattern that I’m hoping to have up tomorrow. This afternoon will be spent finishing up the samples and instructions, but I wanted to post some inspiration pics today on the blog. These are a little later than the pattern in the works, but aren’t they full of fun? Some are so playful, some dramatic. These two pages are from the 1939 Chicago Mail Order Spring and Summer Catalog. Enjoy!
*edit* Just realized What-I-Found also has the same pics on her blog of her issue of the same catalog. Great minds think alike! Go to her blog for more inspiring pics from this 1939 catalog.**
