>Yesterday was the Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942, a fundraiser for Fort MacArthur in San Pedro. I just wanted to share a few photos! The dress was a vintage one given to me by a co-worker. I had to remake most of it to get it to my size, as it was too large, by shortening the bodice length, adding darts and tucks, and taking in the side seams. I’m glad for the way it came out! If I get pics of me and Matt with his car I’d love to post those as well, but I didn’t get one with him or of my lovely green coat! My husband’s car is the 1939 Plymouth on the far right of the car photo :)
And someone caught me and Matt with a Victory kiss :0
