Pattern Hack- Pockets for Smooth Sailing Trousers Pattern

I’ve been meaning to do this for ages! Here’s a video tutorial for how to add pockets to my best-selling Smooth Sailing Pattern.

This video includes easy pattern drafting and how to sew what you’ve drafted! The pattern still remains the same in the purchased pattern with no pockets included.

Bonus of learning to do this yourself? You can now add pockets to ANYTHING. You’re unstoppable! Go you!

Learn how here:

This pattern comes in both Misses Size and Extended (plus) size. You can get the pattern in my Etsy shop and in my pattern shop. It’s available both as an e-pattern download with A0 or print at home options, and as a mailed, printed pattern. http://wearinghistorypatterns.com (except UK and EU) & http://wearinghistory.etsy.com (worldwide)

This pattern was inspired by an original 1930s pattern but has been completely redrafted by me, in both misses and plus block, to be a midpoint between vintage style and modern fit. It’s not a repro- it’s my own draft. <3

Thanks so much and hope you LOVE it and make LOTS of things with pockets!

I know you are talking about the trousers – but what really stucks my eyes, are the huge yellow buttons on the blouse.

They make this whole look just georgeous to me.
