Podcast Episode 6- Lauren Talks Garment Production

Hands down, one of the things I see in rotation on online forums is from aspiring sewists and designers who want to create their own fashion lines.  Jumping off of that, in this episode I talk about my experiences with having run a successful Kickstarter (though we only touch on that- I’ll talk Kickstarter in a future podcast), and the learning curves and bumps along the way to having a finished product to a happy consumer.

In this episode I touch on my experience with fabric sourcing, production, fabric printing, and some of the interesting lessons I learned along the way.  I also talk briefly about why we don’t produce more clothing at this time.

If you’d like to visit my original Kickstarter and see the clothing we produced, you can see it here.

Did you know you can now subscribe to my podcast on Itunes, Spotify, and Google Play?  May sure you search for me on there.  And if you like it please leave me a rating, as that helps jump up my visibility in searches!

Happy listening!

xoxo

Lauren I love your music print so much – I made a dressing gown out of it for when I am doing a show. Thank you for it <3

Yay!! That means so much to me to hear! I’m so glad you’re enjoying that print. A dressing gown sounds like a fabulous idea!
