Now, I have a question for my blog readers… If I were to make the trousers and blouse available separately, is that something you would need? If there’s enough demand, I will put it on my list of things to do. But I’ve got to make sure it’s worth my website space.
If I do offer separate pieces, the pattern pack of both together would be less. For example, the pack of blouse and skirt are $14. For the trousers it would be $9.99, for the blouse it would be $7.00, if purchased separately. Please comment and let me know if that’s something you would like to see me do.

September 9, 2013 at 4:58 am (11 years ago)Oh, I would love just the trousers as an e-pattern! But please, please – would it be possible to combine the two size-groups? I know I’m not alone in having a larger than standard difference between waist and hips, and as it is my measurments lands in the different size packs. This is actually the main reason I haven’t bought a pattern from Wearing history yet (the shipping to Europe is an additional problem, but it really is the divided sizes that has discouraged me), despite having browsed them longingly for years.
But I of course have no idea if it’s even technically possible, or if I have just asked you to re-draft the entire pattern… Just a question if it would be at all possible without too much work! =)
On another note, I’ve followed your recent ordeal and feel with you; removing wisdom-teeth can be som much more painful and complicated than one thinks. Best of well-wishes, and I hope you’ll feel great soon!

Glad you’re excited about the epattern option.
I’m sorry, it is a ton of work to redo the pattern into one packet for sizes. For the patterns that have already been released in paper format, I am keeping them in the size packs as originally released.
I did, however, alter the paper layouts for this one so folks can just print the trousers or the blouse, not having to print both at one time, as I’ve bought epatterns myself where I only wanted to print one thing in the pack and had to print everything at once. That took a while, as I had to rearrange layouts, but re-nesting graded patterns would be pretty time consuming.
I have had problems with folks using my work and claiming it as their own (some of these are my own drafts, others i make changes to, and as you probably know, the originals were only in one size per packet, and grading takes ages) so doing two size packets initially was set up as a sort of self protection, as making these patterns is incredibly consuming. Heck, I even had problems with someone stealing my photos from my site and putting it on their own reproduction pattern they were selling!
I will keep that in mind for future pattern releases, though. :)
