If you’ve been following me on Facebook you may remember that I promised a giveaway when we reached 2,000 “likes”, in order to celebrate that and that I recently reached over 2,000 blog followers. To celebrate you all following me, I’m having a giveaway!!
The winner of the giveaway will win ONE pattern of their choice, plus ONE free e-product of their choice from my Wearing History Patterns website!
Choose ONE pattern of your choice. You can choose among ANY of the patterns on my site! Only a few are pictured here!
Also choose one e-product! There are sewing or costume history reference, knitting patterns, and a bra sewing pattern. Only a few are pictured here!

2. Go to Wearing History Patterns website and pick out one sewing pattern and one e-product.
3. Leave me ONE comment here on my blog telling me which pattern you choose, and what e-product you choose if you win the giveaway!

As for the e-product, I’d have to go with the bra pattern. Bras and panties are what I’m sewing as soon as things get a wee bit settled down with the house renovations and cleaning up after the former owner.

A lovely giveaway but the choosing is though. I had a hard time deciding between all the nice patterns especially between the 40s sailor girl playsuit and the moderne art deco ensamble but in the end I’ll have to choose the Moderne art deco dress pattern. And as I’m intrigued by hairstyles of the 30s I’ll naturally choose The Hair and Head booklet.
Now fingers crossed Lady Luck will favor me :)

Ever since I read Casey’s post on the Smooth Sailing pants, I’ve been wanting to try my hand at making a pair of those so that would be my pattern choice.
My e-pattern choice would be the brassiere pattern. So many bloggers have been making their own vintage lingerie that it’s hard not to want to give it a whirl too, especially when they make it look so easy to put together!

For the other, man, so difficult decision between all your great patterns but I’m going to have to say Lounging at the Lido. It just seems like the perfect way to pass the summer with a nice breeze floating by.

They both remind me of old pictures of my grandmother, from when she was about the same age as I am now, even though she is turning 93 in a few weeks.

If I had to choose, it would definitely be your gorgeous sailor shorts, skirt, and top pattern. I’ve loved it ever since the first time I saw it. We are coming into summer here in Australia, and it would be perfect for the hot weather.
The 30s hair e book would be awesome. I think it would be fascinating to read and try the styles that my gorgeous Non wore when she was in her 20s.

I can also see myself wearing the 1930s Sports Coat particularly with the matching bag ;-)
