>The New Silhouette in it's Most Gracious Interpretation- Dresses, 1930

>

Don’t you just love these floaty and colorful dresses from this 1930 catalog page?  When I got this catalog in the mail a while ago I literally gasped when I saw the dress on the upper far right with “New Leaf Pattern Tucking”. *swoon*.  Someday, when I work up the patience, I will attempt to recreate this nymph-like frock.  In fact, just about every dress on this page has some sort of detailing that would be really fun to incorporate into a sewing project, and some of the color schemes are inspiration itself! Turquoise with lime green and orange? Perfection!

Hope this weekend has all sorts of lovely adventures in store for you!
