Hello!

I would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill out this survey for me.  I’m trying to collect information on my customer base so I can focus best on what is most needed and wanted in the future.  Please do let me know, and please pass along the survey to any friends you know who do vintage or historical sewing.

Thank you so much!

  1. I had a hard time answering the time period questions. As I do a mix of eras for figure flattery rather than authenticity, I am primarily interested in the beauty of the garments. I wear a lot of edwardian things (mostly from folkwear) I wear some vintage repros from the fifties (big four – they’re always on sale) and I have my eyes on your lovely slacks and shorts from the forties.

Make it beautiful and figure flattering (so much of the modern stuff is not), whatever it is that you choose to bring to life!

  2. You know, in some places I really wish I had been able to choose two answers! lol!

So, just to add in, I’m in a complete tie between 1910′s and the 1930′s-40′s. So it was hard to choose one or the other.

Also, when I dress vintage, I like to have items that are really close to being accurate, I’m not a stickler, but I like for that “Feel” to be right. I also like items that really EXUDE the period, but that I can wear on an everyday basis without feeling completely foolish. So, I like simpler every day dresses and separates.

Anyhoo… Hope that helps. And I’m REALLY exited to be able to get a copy of the “Rita” shorts!

  3. One thing I want to add:
    A bit larger sizes.
Your larges size is not very big I’m sorry to say. :(

  4. I want to add that if I weren’t broke I’d be interested in buying finished pieces but since I am not in a position to shop right now I marked the pattern only option.

  5. I’m plus size (20) and don’t have much experience drafting patterns. I do like vintage styles and would love to wear/make them, but have a hard time finding vintage things in my size.
