While I was puttering a bit with sewing, I noticed I had put these up on my shelf.  Don’t have the slightest recollection of finding them originally so it was a pleasant surprise.  I thought you might enjoy the graphic!  I was on the quest for skirt hook and bars in the stash and came up empty handed.  I wish I could drum up some in a similar manner as these snaps were made, apparently ;)
I did manage to do a little bit of sewing this weekend.  Yay!  I nearly finished a 1940s swimsuit from this Eva Dress pattern.  I had started it a few weeks ago, so it’s nice to have it nearly done.  I made it in a vintage rayon and am hanging the skirt so I can hem it later this week.  Hopefully this weekend I can get hubby to take some pics for me to share :)
Hope you all had a great weekend!

    >I would kill for an invisible zipper that was made with magic. And a magician to insert the thing. I do believe we all need more magical sewing tools these days, though I'm completely convinced that my particular beeswax wheel was produced by fairy hands. It's just magical how my thread remains untangled when I use it. Love the graphic and can't wait for the swimsuit!xoxo,Sunni

    >Oh, how cute!! I love some of the vintage packaging I find. I wish I could keep all of it but I'd be swimming in a sea of cardboard! :) I can't wait to see the swimsuit you made. I actually found a great 50's suit in my size last year but I hope to make one myself this season.

    >You're always making the patterns I dearly love but don't make. Can't wait to see your winter swimsuit!

    >It's just wonderful. Love the swim suit. I have thought about making one but thought it would be really hard to do. I have seen this snaps at the antique stores. Can't wait to see your suit.
