>Something for the Boys- Mens Jackets- 1939-1940

>Ok, so maybe not exactly the “Something for the Boys” that you were thinking of, but if I know men and vintage fashion, this might be equally as good ;)
I admit to loving mens fashion.  I know nearly nothing about it, but there’s something about late 30s casual menswear that fascinates me! It could be because it’s so rare- it could be because it’s so often overlooked in favor of snappy suits, but these two tone jackets really do make my heart sing.  And they remind me so much of my husband’s mode of wear!

    >I am also really appreciating men's fashion lately, after years of not seeing anything special in it or at least feeling that women's fashion was far better. I guess as I have learned to have more subtle appreciations for tailoring and textures I have seen that there is so much more to men's clothes than at first glance (since men don't get as wide an array I'd say as women do in terms of color and skirts and such). Also, here in Oregon, all those shirts would be popular for women too.
