>Knit some Mittens- Free pattern

>I’m moving right along here with sewing, but wanted to post something today, so I leafed through some old knitting books and found this mitten pattern with flaps that go back.  Handy, isn’t it?  The pattern is not dated, but I’m guessing it’s from the early 1950s by some of the other patterns in this book.  This pattern is  Australian- use the needle conversion chart here for the correct sizes.
