>The Continental Purse- 30s crochet purse

>And now the song is going to be stuck in my head ALL day (oh Fred and Ginger how I love you).
I’m not sure whether I love or hate this purse, but I figured someone could get a kick out of it!  I know if it was me I’d throw my cell phone, digital camera, and other things in there and get all sorts of lumpy bumpies, but I’m not exactly ladylike when it comes to what I carry around.  If you’re the lipstick, compact, and wallet type I think this would work well! This was the other little pattern on the free pamphlet I shared of the hat yesterday.  The Continental purse, probably from around 1937.  In my opinion it would absolutely wonderful if you added a huge button or funny brooch or big bow to that empty space on the flap.  Hmm… maybe I like it after all…

    >I loved the little hat but could never see myself wearing it – but this bag with a crazy button or something WOULD be cool!

    >How fun! I agree: I think this needs a little jazzing up with some fun accessory/embellishment to make it really wow. ;) I need another purse like a hole in my head though… haha!♥ Caseyblog | elegantmusings.com
